Raccoon Rabies Vaccine Baits Across Allegheny County
Beginning July 31 through August 17, Allegheny County Health Department and USDA Wildlife Services will distribute raccoon rabies vaccine baits across Allegheny County. Baits will be delivered by hand from ground vehicles and by helicopter. This helps eradicate raccoon rabies and reduces human and pet exposures to rabid animals.
