State of Emergency
Pennsbury Roads Are
Opened
To Travel!
All Pennsbury roads are opened to all traffic. Most of our roadways, are in fair to good condition compared to other municipalities. Thanks too a lot of hard work and long hours by our snow crew and the additional contractors our roadways and parking spaces have greatly improved. We are now approaching 29 inches of snow!
The police have asked us to warn all residents to a rash of car break-ins that started occurring on Friday night and have continued. Make sure you lock your vehicle and report any suspicious activity to the police. All vehicles that had items stolen from them were not locked!
Parking is still at a premium. There are
few
spare parking places anywhere in the Village and will not be any
until we are able to get all the parking areas cleared.
Unfortunately we can not do this until everyone clears off their
cars and moves them.
Please take this in consideration when planning
for guests. They will have problems finding a spare
parking space. We
will tow any vehicle that is illegally parked and
considered a danger to traffic flow.
Also, please be considerate of your neighbors. If
you did not spend hours or money cleaning snow from a parking space
during the storms, do not park your car in one that was.
While we do not condone putting chairs out to reserve parking
spaces, we do understand why they are there. As soon as
more parking areas are cleared, we will start enforcing the laws
against placing chairs in parking spaces.
A big "Thank You" goes out to everyone who has "pitched in" by shoveling and checking on and assisting their neighbors. It just goes to show you what a great place Pennsbury is to live.
Stop back here for further updates.
