Major Carport Issue: Illegal Parking in Carports
It has been brought to the attention of the management office that there are unauthorized vehicles being parked in leased and vacant carports throughout the community. Please be advised that the Association is taking a proactive approach on this matter and will contact Carnegie Police to have the violator ticketed and the vehicle towed. The towing and storage costs will be at the owner's expense. If you are interested in leasing a carport, the cost is $30 per month with a one year lease. You can contact the condominium office at 412-276-5100 if you have questions about carport availability. We can place your name on a waiting list if a vacant carport isn't available near your home at this time.
Landscape Committee presents: 2009 Pennsbury Garden Tour
The second annual Pennsbury Garden Tour will take place on Sunday, July 19th 2009. Last year fourteen Pennsbury residents participated and we had a great variety of plantings and unique patios and decks for people to see as they walked the grounds. We invite all residents to participate, whether as a gardener or a visitor. The committee is also looking for more gardens to be added to the tour! More details will be available soon. If you have questions or suggestions, please call the Condominium Office at 412-276-5100.
Energy Committee: 2009 Energy Pilot Program
Over 20 people have volunteered to participate in this years program, by which the condominium association will provide a number of energy saving products. These products include Hydro Clean Fill Valves for the toilets that prevent unnecessary water from running down the bowl and detect defective flapper. Oxygenics Tri Spa shower heads that infuse oxygen into the water stream making it more forceful without using more water. Programmable Thermostats that allow temperatures to be raised and lowered automatically as you sleep or are away from home. There is still time to volunteer and help Pennsbury save money. To encourage community involvement, the Energy Committee is planning a fun event on Earth Day, April 21st. More information will be coming!

Pella Patio Doors: Repairs Being Made
Rob Stevenson reports that a Service Team from Pella will be working on-site during the weeks of April 13th and April 20th to repair selected patio doors in various buildings throughout the community. It was determined in some cases that there was a patio door defect. and Pella has agreed to repair the affected doors under the warranty. Because all work can be done from the exterior of the unit, owners will not need to be notified nor do they need to be home during the repair. If you have questions on this project, please call the Condominium Office at 412-276-5100.
