Project Update by Robert W. Stevenson Property Manager
Summer is in full swing and I hope everyone was able to enjoy the recent July 4th Holiday. The poor, wet weather of June will hopefully give way to some hot, sunny days. Despite the poor conditions, your maintenance staff has been hard at work keeping up with all of the maintenance related challenges of the season. I am very proud of their effort and the professional way they approach their tasks on a daily basis.
We have been able to stay on or ahead of schedule with most of our major projects this year. The deck cleaning and sealing is progressing nicely, several landscape trouble spots have been or are in the process of being addressed, the exterior painting project has been able to maintain it's course and the initial phase of the roof replacement project has been completed. The Board agreed to complete a second phase of the roof replacement project this year because the roof material prices are guaranteed to increase by a minimum of 10% in 2009. The tentative additional sections are:
Building #10 Sections A & C Building #23 Sections A & C Building #24 Sections A, B, & C Building #28 Sections A, B, & C Building #37 Section B
There remains additional landscape beautification to be completed this year and dead or dying shrubs will be replaced throughout the Association.
I hope this provides a general update for everyone. Please feel free to contact the Management office if you have any questions. Have a safe and healthy Summer! |
