Borough Council is seeking a new Vacancy Board member.

If Council refuses, fails, neglects or is unable, for any reason whatsoever, to fill any vacancy within 30 days after the vacancy happens, the vacancy shall be filled within 15 additional days by the Vacancy Board. The Vacancy Board consists of Council, exclusive of the mayor, and one registered elector of the borough who shall be appointed by the Council at the Council’s first meeting each calendar year or as soon as practical and who shall act as chair of the Vacancy Board.

Qualifications for Vacancy Board member include:
* Registered voter
* Pennsbury Village resident for at least one year
* Able to attend Borough Council’s monthly general meetings (the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm in the Community Room).
**Vacancy Board member does not need to be an owner.
